Description

Runs pre-upgrade checks to minimize failure risk during the upgrade process. As part of validation, a temporary load balancer is provisioned to verify network permissions and is automatically deleted upon completion.

Options

--environment (string)

The name or CRN of the environment.

--image-id (string)

Target image ID for upgrade.

--allow-major-os-upgrade | --no-allow-major-os-upgrade (boolean)

Allows the upgrade to a subsequent major OS version in the series.

--cli-input-json (string)

Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by --generate-cli-skeleton. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values.

--generate-cli-skeleton (boolean)

Prints a sample input JSON to standard output. Note the specified operation is not run if this argument is specified. The sample input can be used as an argument for --cli-input-json.

flowId -> (string)

Flow ID of the FreeIPA upgrade preparation flow.

operationId -> (string)

Unique operation ID assigned to this command execution. Use this identifier with ‘get-operation’ to track status and retrieve detailed results.
